Just in time for summer, the U.S. Postal Service is debuting scratch-and-sniff stamps on June 20, each square decorated with two colorful ice cream treats.

So, what will they smell like?

“There is one scent and that will be revealed when we issue the stamps June 20,” said Mark Saunders, a public relations representative for the U.S. Postal Service. “They’ll be available nationwide that day.”

The “Frozen Treats Forever” collection will be met with much fanfare in Austin, Texas, where a dedication ceremony will be held at the Thinkery Children’s Museum, accompanied by a livestream for stamp-lovers all over the world. There is even an aptly named hashtag, #FrozenTreatsStamps.

A booklet will contain 20 stamps with 10 unique designs, the artwork by California artist Margaret Berg and design by Antonio Alcalá and Leslie Badani of Virginia.

As usual with a new stamp design, they will be on sale in post offices for about three months and will then be available for an extended period online.

For those who can’t wait to get their hands (and noses) on these summer stamps, they can be pre-ordered online as well.
