Celebrities: They’re just like us, and that includes being goofy on a weekend off.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen posted video of themselves on Brady’s Instagram story of the pair enjoying the U2 concert in Boston last Thursday. On Tuesday, they received some unexpected attention from TMZ and AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys.

In a video shot for TMZ Sports, McLean was … very generous when it came to assessing TB12’s vocal abilities.

After listening to Brady’s less than stellar singing voice, the long-time boybander said: “If you’re having fun and you’re passionate about it, do your thing. Not everyone is supposed to be a singer… Not everyone is supposed to be a dancer or an actor, but good for him, man,” McLean said. “That takes [guts] to be able to get up there and do something like that.”

The TMZ reporter then asked if post-retirement Brady should “definitely not sing, right?” To which McLean politely responded, “Maybe not.”
